ROBBEN: SANE IS A VERY GIFTED AND TALENTED PLAYER

Former Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben held an interview recently and he had a couple of things to say about his former employers. After failed spells at Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid and at English Premier League side Chelsea, Robben moved to Germany, joining Bayern Munich where he eventually put his career back on track and also won several titles as well. The winger came out of retirement to play for his former side Groningen in the Dutch Eredivisie for promotional reasons.

In the interview, the former Netherlands international attacker spoke about his time at Bayern Munich, how he managed to put his previous career problems behind him to make a strong comeback with the German Bundesliga giants, and he also talked about the club’s current crop of players and their chances of competing against the top and best teams across Europe.

Robben said that he was not a lucky person in his career when it comes to injuries and that he suffered a lot as well. He said that he wished he had a career free of several injury problems but admitted that maybe it’s something that was meant to happen. Speaking of his first few months as a Bayern Munich player, he said he joined the club bearing in mind that he has had several problems at his previous clubs but was keen to put all of those memories behind him so they would not have a negative impact on his career moving forward.

Robben would then go on to have a fantastic career with the Bavarian giants and scored a lot of goals for the club, while also winning a lot of titles as well. Speaking of the club’s current stars, the former Chelsea star said that there are top players at the Allianz Arena currently and that Sane, who took up his number 10 shirt, is a talented player and will have a great career at Bayern.
