Retired French striker Henry was impressed with the performance of German international Sane during the Barcelona game at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night. In his post-match thoughts, Henry said that ex-Manchester City star Sane could reach the levels of Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery if he continue to perform at a very good level for Bayern Munich on a consistent basis. During this summer’s transfer window, Sane was seriously linked with a return to the Premier League where he played for Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. He was linked with a move to North London side Arsenal.

Sane has been in good form for the Bavarian giants in the Champions League this season with two goals in two games as far as Group C is concerned. Sane and Bayern Munich are in Group C alongside Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan, Czech champions Viktoria Plzen and Spanish La Liga heavyweights Barcelona.

In the first set of Group C games, Sane scored one of the goals as Bayern Munich record a 2-0 win at the home of Inter Milan, while Barcelona ace Robert Lewandowski scored three times to lead his team to a 5-1 win at home to Plzen.

For the second set of games in Group C, Edin Dzeko and Denzel Dumfries scored for Inter Milan on the way to a 2-0 away win over 10-man Plzen, while Lucas Hernandez and German star Sane scored for Bayern in a 2-0 home win over Barcelona to send them to the top of the group table.
