KROS: SIGN ROBBEN UP

Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has said that the future of Arjen Robben should be sorted quickly for the benefit of the club. Arjen Robben has been one of the most important players for Bayern Munich ever since joining from Real Madrid for a relatively low transfer fee of just £ 24 million. He has proven to be one of the best signings for Bayern Munich in recent seasons, as he has been able to emulate the success of fellow Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery quite spectacularly. Franck Ribery was regarded to be the heartbeat of Bayern Munich prior to the arrival of Arjen Robben, but the former Chelsea winger has been one of the best players at Bayern Munich.

There has been a lot of speculation over his future at Bayern Munich. It is thought that Arjen Robben would consider leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season, although he has a few more years left on his current contract. The Dutch star is in the best form of his life after having scored seven goals in just three matches. He was once again inspirational in helping Bayern Munich get past FC Basel in the last 16 of the Champions League. Toni Kroos has said that it is priority number one for Bayern Munich to retain the Dutch winger.

“We know that he can put in performances like he has done in recent weeks. That’s why he can always be an important player for us. There should not even be a discussion about his future. You have to look at the general picture. You can’t say after one bad game that he should leave, and then stress after a good game that he deserves a new deal all of a sudden,” Kroos said when asked about the importance of Arjen Robben.
